Our Training Technology
The Vizual Edge Performance Trainer™ allows you to evaluate and train essential visual skills. It offers a user friendly, interactive, and convenient method to evaluate and enhance your visual performance. Like “weight training for the eyes™” the VEPT® improves speed and efficiency of the visual system through regular use. Training is performed 1 to 3 times per week for between 6 and 30 weeks. Each session lasts up to 20 minutes. The typical athlete will use 12 to 60 sessions. It can be incorporated into traditional training programs effectively both on and off season, and in the privacy of an athlete’s home or training facility. Athletes, coaches and trainers, have long recognized the benefits of good nutrition, aerobic conditioning, weight training, and quality equipment. Today, no athlete who strives for excellence can ignore the visual system as a vital component of his or her training.

The Vizual Edge Performance Trainer Evaluates and Trains
- Vizual Alignment™ - Most athletes' eyes don't line up exactly on a target when they're looking at it. When this happens, the brain receives inaccurate information. For instance, if a baseball player's alignment is in front of a target, it might cause an early swing. Alignment behind might cause a late swing.
- Depth Perception - Your perception of depth relies on your ability to use both of your eyes simultaneously.
The following exercises test and train your skills:
- Vizual Flexibility™ - Eye flexibility requires you to move your eyes together simultaneously and efficiently. Three distinct skills make up eye flexibility:
- Convergence - the ability of the eyes to maintain an inward posture
- Divergence - the ability of the eyes to maintain an outward posture
- Alternating Flexibility - the ability to alternate between the two postures
- Vizual Recognition™ - Well-developed visual recognition skills allow you to remember and recall previous visual information.
- Vizual Tracking™ - The ability to follow an object. Improving your visual tracking skills will enable you to scan the playing field better, allowing you to see, think, and react more quickly.
Benefits include:

- Enhanced academic performance.
